I got a little carried away this morning at Haymarket's open air market. OK, very carried away. My eyes were bigger than my stomach (and my backpack). Haymarket is not a farmer's market, but an absurdly cheap wholesale produce market. They sell everything so cheaply because it's very ripe, sometimes too ripe. It takes a bit of looking and sorting to find the best fruits and vegetables, but it is well worth it. For a whopping $21.50 I bought:
